This sounds pretty old school. These five guys from Finland are not bad in what they´re doing. Dead Revolution creates its´own sound out of a mix of Hard-Rock, Power- and Heavy-Metal. Ok, the music they´re doing is really new, but it rocks so the music can´t be wrong. Dead Revolution also have their ballad moments on this CD which is really good and brings in more variety and feeling. I first had some problems with the voice of Timo, but after a couple of minutes I got used to it and sometimes I was reminded of James Hettfield...hmm...maybe I smoke toooo f**ing much, hahaha. After listening to this CD a couple of times I also can recommend this CD to every fan of HEavy-Rock, cause Dead Revolution mixing in a lot of Heavy-Ass-Rock riffing into their songs. That all is packed into a really good production...ok...sometimes the voice is a bit toooo much up front, but that´s ok. I recommend Dead Revolution to every Heavy-Metal fan, but also you Stoners out there should check "Narrow Gates" out.
